Xiamen Tourism Bureau – Discover Xiamen featured mid-autumn festival in Xiamen, aiming at introducing culture and special events of Xiamen. Digital agency set up a Facebook fan page for Xiamen tourism and then run this campaign targeting European countries.
In order to Bring in Deeply engagement, the Discover Xiamen campaign were Divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 – Click posts to warm up, fan page was set up in this phase and attracted registration of free Xiamen trip lucky draw;
Phase 2 – play game to stretch, raised virtual Bo Bing Game for fans to experience and spread it out. Participants just needed to collect 8 stamps then owned a chance to win a prize even only use mobile. Such easy pattern successfully delivered culture impact O2O through game experience, and finally it got people to engage in the real world and push information back there from Facebook.
The result shows that fans number of Discover Xiamen fan page successfully increased from 0 to 13,000 in less than a month. In addition, fan page setting up, fan page management, tap page game, social ads and other parts of the campaign has seamless integrated into one strong theme that it can be considered as a good example in the tourism industry.
