Pixo Punch was announced as the Bronze Winner in “Excellence in Loyalty Marketing” and “Excellence in Relaunch Marketing” of the Marketing Excellence Awards 2016, which was hosted by Marketing Magazine.
Excellence in Loyalty Marketing
“Sogo Rewards Mobile App” was awarded the Bronze Winner in Excellence in Loyalty Marketing. The background is that SOGO found it difficult to revamp its traditional CRM programme with the existing point of sales (POS) system. However, SOGO and its members expected to have a one-stop platform to handle all member activities. Therefore, we developed the “SOGO Rewards Mobile App”, which is a new programme to nurture long-term relationships between SOGO and its members. The app attracted 51,000 registrations in the first month.
Excellence in Relaunch Marketing
“Brand’s BEC 2016 Digital Campaign” was awarded the Bronze Winner in Excellence in Relaunch Marketing. Brand’s used to focus on offline marketing strategy to reach its target audience. In comparison with digital marketing, the effectiveness of traditional advertising method is relatively weaker. In order to catch up with the digital trend and utilize a vast variety of online media platforms for promotion, a new relaunch campaign with multiple digital channels was considered more effective. Celebrity Akina Fong was invited as the spokesperson to be featured in all viral videos and digital campaigns. Significant increase in both product awareness and product sales have been recorded.

Held at the InterContinental Hong Kong, the Marketing Excellence Awards 2016 has presented over 110 trophies to the best campaigns of the year.
